I'm Lewi, a black and grey tattoo artist based at Checkmate Studios in Blackpool.

Most of my work is large scale and dark, anything from oni and hannya masks, dragons and wolves to Buddhas and statue work, usually built into sleeves and back pieces. I'm always up for new ideas though, so it's worth asking whatever you've got in mind. Every project is custom and drawn around the person it's going on, so it sits with the body rather than flat on top of it.
